BTS’s interpreting experience clearly shows that each assignment is different. Interpretation during a seminar is not quite the same as interpretation during a visit to a GP. Court interpretation and interpretation during negotiations are so specialized that they fit in categories of their own.

In taking on your assignment, BTS will carefully assess your needs to get a clear understanding of what the interpretation assignment will be about. During this assessment we go over details like: the subject matter, the field, level of technicality, terminology, the overall objectives and purpose of the occasion for which you need the interpreter, the duration, and any other relevant details.

Based on this assessment, BTS will subsequently select the appropriate interpreter and will only use those interpreters that are trained in interpreting. BTS will discuss all details with the interpreter and provide all necessary materials to help him or her prepare effectively for the assignment.

Over the years, BTS has built a substantial database of experienced, professionally trained interpreters. For each project, BTS will preferably select interpreters with a background in the field of the assignment and who adhere to the code of ethics of the American Translators Association. Interested?
